Here Are the Candidates We’ve Endorsed
Special District Elections may not seem as important as elections for state-wide or national positions….but these local elections matter greatly to your everyday life. The public servants you elect will make important decisions that affect your neighborhood, your local schools and parks.
This year a number of races, particularly for school boards, are contentious. Right-wing groups are pumping money into several local campaigns with the goal of pushing school boards to adopt increasingly conservative policies. One more reason your informed vote is so important!
Here are the candidates endorsed by Clackamas County Democrats, along with links to their websites and other information about their backgrounds and platforms. Voters’ Pamphlets have been mailed out, and you can also find it here. Please know that the list below includes only those who requested our endorsement and then were approved by our executive committee, and we want to acknowledge that other excellent candidates are running as well.
