While GOP US representative Lori Chavez-DeRemer, who, sad to say, was elected last November, is trying to give District 5 Oregonians the impression that she is a moderate, reasonable, willing-to-compromise member of the Republican party, her actions tell a much different story. In the April 12 Oregon Capital Chronicle retired attorney Mary Chaffin details how Chavez-DeRemer is actually “an ardent proponent of the culture war and economic issues that the MAGA GOP use to divide us.”
