Across the nation, eyes are on the Congressional race in Oregon’s District 5, whose boundaries changed after the recent redistricting. The May 17th election will determine whether Jamie McLeod-Skinner or incumbent Kurt Schrader will be the Democrat on the November ballot. Redrawn Congressional District 5 opens new challenge for incumbent Schrader - “We had over 78% [of 242 people] of our membership vote to endorse McLeod-Skinner over Schrader. I think that should present a clearing call that we need a difference here, that we need someone new," Waller said. "And what's even more amazing here is that it isn't just us in Clackamas County.
